I'm an avid skier and electrical engineer currently living in Somerville, MA. I grew up all over the US and Germany since my Dad was in the military. I’m currently looking for electrical engineering opportunites in the Greater Boston Area. I’d like to become an integral part of a high-growth company where I can continue to learn, grow, and create as an engineer.

WORK Experience

NK Labs · Senior Electrical Engineer · April 2023 - Now
NK Labs is an Engineering Design consulting firm based in Cambridge, MA. While there, I worked on several projects for various clients in different stages of the R&D process. I’ve rapidly prototyped features, designed several PCBs in Altium, from the system architecture phase to bringup and testing, including PCBs with high speed DDR4 memory, FPGAs, microcontrollers, radio technologies, cameras, sensors, and more. I developed novel solution for product unboxing, using tightly constrained existing footprint, power budget, and cost, to solve deep sleep wake up issue.

Lumafield · Senior Electrical Engineer · September 2020 - February 2023

Lumafield makes affordable, HAAS Industrial CT Scanners for R&D and quality control. I was the 15th employee at the company, and the only Electrical Engineer for my first year and a half at the company. I brought the electronics from the Alpha prototype to the first production run. I spec’ed, designed, and implemented safety & motion system electronics from conception to PCB, wrote firmware in C, brought the system through FCC testing at intertek, and more.

Vivint SmartHome · Electrical Engineer · Spring 2018 - August 2020

Vivint makes and sells a complete smart home ecosystem, which integrates cameras, sensors, and safety devices together and controls them with a single app. While here, I’ve worked on sensors, cameras, and the central hub of the system. I’ve done early stage research and prototyping for products in development. I’ve conducted testing and research comparing several different radio protocols for our sensor ecosystem. I’m currently working as the main electrical engineer on an unreleased camera project. For more information about the type of work that entail, please see my portfolio.

This is a small robotic kitchen startup and I worked on integrating the induction heater modules with the rest of the machine. It has since been acquired by Sweetgreen!
